Christmas Blessing

Christmas Blessing is an annual event that provides Christmas presents for needy children in Greene County.  Ladies from our community are invited to a Christmas tea where they pick out an ornament tagged with a child's "Wish List".  Every child has three ornaments on our tree; one for toys, one for clothing and one for undergarments.  The ladies are given a couple of weeks to shop and then the gifts are turned in to Junior Auxiliary and distributed during a Christmas party held for the children (See Children's Party).  Every year around 100 children are provided a wonderful Christmas because of the generosity of our community.  For more information about this event, please contact any Junior Auxiliary member.

2007 Announcement:

Due to attendance over the last three years, the board has decided to cancel the Tea at this time and use the monetary funding on the Children's Christmas Blessing Party. 

The Christmas Blessing tree will be available at Catfish and Khakis for anyone who still wants to help and adopt a child.  You may also contact any JA member prior to Catfish and Khakis and they will be able to assist you with your donation.
